Recreating the old Google Analytics Dashboard

November 13, 2012 Uncategorized

Not that long ago Google updated their analytics offering which included lots of new reporting and dashboard functionality. However, this meant they removed the old dashboard report and broke the workflow of many companies who sent this report to their clients.

To solve this issue we have created a custom dashboard to replace the old dashboard. It is smaller in size (exports to 1 page not 5-6) but the key data is there.

You can add this dashboard to your account by logging in to your analytics, then pasting this URL into your browser:

Google Analytics will ask you which profile to apply this dashboard to, and you can edit its name. Click ‘Create’ and away you go, the dashboard is added to your chosen profile. You can then add more widgets or edit the existing ones to customise for your needs.
